At Poppies Floral Design we know from experience that every Bride (and Groom) are different and that essentially, their wedding is an incredibly special day for them, their friends and family.
We know that each couple’s personalities and requirements are unique, so put in the time to really get to know them and understand their vision for the day. Wedding flowers are about more than a colour scheme for us. We consider the whole picture from size and style of the venue, the bride’s dress and proportions, bridesmaids, table layout, budget and the desired atmosphere to create a scheme that harmonises as a whole. We aim to reflect the style of the couple whether that’s smart and traditional, relaxed and natural or something completely different - vibrant colour or subtle pastel tones, we love working with different possibilities.
Ultimately, what’s important to us is helping our clients achieve the perfect setting for them to celebrate their big day, and we genuinely enjoy it.
As a team we have a wide-ranging and varied wealth of experience working with venues across the County and beyond; from castles and stately homes to barns and village halls and with celebrities to brides – every client is treated with the same care and attention. Each of our trained floral designers brings her own special skills to the team; one has exhibited at the Chelsea Flower Show and sat as a judge for the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) and one specialises in the ‘natural country-style’ look.
We try to use seasonal flowers where possible since we believe that we’re very lucky to live in a country that has four seasons, each bringing its own beauty, but we also source flowers and accessories from all over the world to offer our clients a truly comprehensive selection. Combined with the shared experience of the team, this enables Poppies Designer Flowers to create beautiful, considered floral arrangements that are perfect for all of our clients.
